TICHUCA'S MUSIC IDENTITY

One of the Best Rooftop Bar in Bangkok.

When Tichuca first opened its doors in Bangkok, we didn’t just want to serve drinks, but instead we wanted to create something new, could be a feeling. Something that is light, vibrant, and effortlessly cool. That’s when the word Tropical House entered the picture into our concept. Back then, Tropical House was everywhere. Artists like Kygo, Thomas Jack, and Matoma were redefining electronic music with melodies that felt like endless summer. Their sound that is light, melodic, full of island flavor, offered an escape to the people occupying the space.

But music, like everything, evolves. And so did we.

As our nights got longer and our dance floor grew louder, the sound of Tichuca started shifting. We kept the spirit of Tropical House. The warmth, the energy, the feel-good melodies, but pushed it into a higher gear. The music became bolder, faster, more electric. Less beach lounge, more rooftop euphoria.

Today, Tichuca’s sound lives in that high-energy space where tropical meets tech, where Afro-house grooves meet Latin-infused edits, and where unexpected global sounds drop right in the middle of a beat that keeps you moving. It’s not about chill playlists anymore. It’s about building a rhythm that climbs with the night and peaks with the crowd.

We still honor our roots, but we’re not afraid to turn up the tempo. Whether it’s a weekend DJ set or an impromptu dance moment under the tree, Tichuca’s music is designed to lift you up, get you lost, and let you feel something real.
